TZcocoa launched in early 2016 with the mission to promote and facilitate global market access to Tanzanian specialty cacao. We procure high quality fermented and dried beans exclusively from our farmer groups. The team helped start the groups over four years ago and working together feels like family. Together, we are changing the face of Tanzania’s cocoa market. Our primary goal is to improve farmer livelihoods by giving them a reason to produce high quality beans. It is more important for us to develop Tanzania’s niche cacao market into one of the best fine flavor single origins, rather than make higher margins with fewer orders.
