Café Royal's bars and listed historic rooms have played host to a number of events, including iconic gatherings such as 'The Last Supper', David Bowie's 1973 farewell to his alter-ego Ziggy Stardust where he partied the night away with Mick Jagger, Lulu, Lou Reed and Co. Ziggy's Bar is a playful tribute to David Bowie, who famously held the retirement party for his alter ego Ziggy Stardust at Café Royal in the 1970s and offers a range of cocktails inspired by the pop stars life.
