Londoners will have the chance to experience one of Japan‘s most iconic comfort foods when KEWPIE MAYONNAISE brings its immersive KEWPIE IT. pop-up to Covent Garden for one weekend only.
Inspired by the Japanese konbini convenience stores, the free pop-up celebrates the famous Tamago Sando, AKA Japan’s much-loved Egg Sandwich, and the ingredient that gives it its unmistakably rich, creamy flavour: KEWPIE MAYONNAISE.
Visitors to the Covent Garden pop-up on 19–20 September will have the opportunity to explore a joyfully designed KEWPIE KONBINI, a Japanese convenience store-inspired experience, worthy of photo ops and taste the KEWPIE MAYONNAISE Tamago Sando. Guests attending will also be able to pick up a limited edition KEWPIE IT. Mayozine, have a chance to win free products and pick up merchandise.
Made predominantly with egg yolks and Kewpie’s proprietary vinegars, KEWPIE MAYONNAISE has become a cult favourite among chefs and food lovers worldwide thanks to its distinctive creamy texture and deep umami flavour.
The London pop-up marks the launch of KEWPIE IT., a campaign encouraging people to add a little extra joy to everyday cooking, whether that’s a sandwich, salad, burger or bowl of vegetables.
