Leeds Castle, located near Maidstone, Kent, has announced the opening of its latest luxurious retreat, Guards’ House, which is now accepting bookings for the first time, with an exclusive 20% off stays to celebrate.
Sleeping up to six guests, this charming 200-year-old cottage offers a unique blend of history and modern comfort, making it the perfect retreat for families or small groups seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Kent countryside. To add to the experience, all stays include access to the Castle and its captivating grounds, including exclusive access to the grounds once the gates have been closed to day visitors.
Guards’ House provides guests with an unforgettable experience, combining elegant furnishings, light-filled interiors, and tranquil surroundings. The property offers three bedrooms: one super-king bed (which can be converted into twin beds), one king bed and a twin room; a spacious living area with seating for six, a wood-burning stove, Smart TV; a fully equipped country-style kitchen; a large private rear garden backing onto serene woodland; and parking for three cars, including an electric car charging point.
Guards’ House offers a peaceful private retreat while being just moments away from the historic Leeds Castle where guests can explore the castle’s breathtaking gardens, appreciate scenic walks through the Kent countryside, wander through its famous Maze, and enjoy the three on-site adventure playgrounds. The heritage site also features a Falconry Arena, where visitors can marvel at the mesmerising falconry displays.
